the dpf and cat is easier to swap in my opinion than the dpf only..

Yes it is easier to do the DPF/CAT Delete because you can remove everything in one piece and do not have to mess with the bolts going around the DPF into the CAT. Easier and cleaner install, not to mention more benefits with going DPF/CAT Delete.

Exhaust

Not to highjack this thread but in looking at the DPF/cat delete I see up in the front where you will break the joint there is a bracket attached to the exhaust, looks like a weight/damper it is round looking or something of that sort, just wondering beacause I have not seen it mentioned here, can someone inlighten me on what this is and do I remove it when I do my DPF/cat delete.
thanks

I have the sct dpf delete pipe right now. Can I buy a cat delete to connect to the sct dpf delete pipe and use that or do I need to buy the two together? Is it really easier to do the two together? Those bolts around the dpf are a b---h to do.

Rudy or someone, as I mentioned in a post a couple up, the assembly where the down pipe and straight pipe starts what is that assembly and what does it do for the existing system, will it effect the exhaust system once the DPF/CAT is installed.
Just wondering??
Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the black canister with 2 bolts and the steel cable..... it's a counter weight for the HEAVY CAT and DPF. It does nothing but add more weight to the exhaust system and damper vibration for the stock parts. So the answer the question, no effect after install of new CAT/DPF pipe.
