are you looking for a locker or limited slip.

-DETRIOT LOCKER stays locked all the time, and it may unlock going around corners
-LOCK-RITE locked all the time, installs into carrier. cheaper and easiest to install
-ARB an air locker that when selected switches between open diff and locker
-DETROIT TRUE-TRAC, gear type limited slip. no clutches to wear out.
-AUBURN limited slip, uses friction cones, or clutches. these will eventually wear out.

im sure there are others but those are the main ones. i personally would suggest against a "true" locker for street or towing. but they would be the best for off-road.

I'd go detroit true-trac, perfect for what you wanna do.

My truck does the one tire deal once in awhile. It seems as soon as you put on bigger tires, the factory settings are not enough. I am going with a TrueTrac when I get the chance. Both my new truck and my 06 did the same thing with 37"s.
