Muffler or Straight?

what is the best way to go?
I will be making some changes to my exhaust this week and i'm wondering what it would sound like w/o the muffler? I have always ran a muffler before but I am curious.
I currently have a full 4" w/ a dynomax muffler
how would it sound/ more like my 6.0?

With these twin turbo's you really don't need mufflers in a 6.4 IMHO....

ever heard a hairdryer?...bout the same, until about 2k rpm, then it sounds like a 6 leaker.

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish with the sound.

Explain what you want it to sound like and we'll tell you what the best options are. Turbo whistle, hair dryer, loud deep roar, not so loud deep tone, etc.

I'd say more like a jet before it lights up.

If you don't like the 4" hair dryer sound you can drive around it like I do... Its really hard on tires but downtown it sure turns a lot of heads!!

I'm hearing the 5" isn't quite as bad in terms of the hair-dryer.

I would go straight pipe. These trucks just aren't very loud fully opened up.
