Looking at gettin an 08 350

Ive got a 150 right now and need much more power. I will be hauling my farm equipment and hay all summer. Looking to load the dual tandem gooseneck with 200 bales at 50 lbs each puts me at about 14,000 or 15,000 just with trailer and load. I have been lookin at tuners. Used to be into diesels and kind of gave up hope thinkin id never get one. What tuners are recommended? The first thing I do is dpf and cat delete. Does bully dogs computer have a delete? The more i look around on here the more I see spartan programming. How are they? Most I will do to this truck to start out is intake, exhaust and programmer for towing mostly. Give me some input guys. Thanks!

I got my first Diesel last March, and that was an upgrade from my half ton supercrew Ford. I used to tow my Waggy with that truck, and it hated me for it. Now I tow the Waggy with this truck and plan to never go back to gas. I have the Spartan 250, DPF delete, and AFE intake, with the 6 speed manual, and I can accelerate with 7k trailer in tow faster than the same truck could accelerate stock. I love it. The power is there, and the maintenance is nearly non-existent for the tunes. There are other options, but I like what I have.

'10 F350, CCLB, SRW, 4x4, 6 speed, 2.5" AutoSpring front leveling pucks, 37 x 13.50 x 18 Toyo's, 18 x 9 XD Diesel's, Road Armors front/rear

I pull a 15,000lbs 5th wheel with no problems. Even stock with that kind of load the shifts are firm and crisp. With the tune in I can move along down the highway like its not even there. And that is not an overstatement.

Lets just say not quite stock.

If you're going to do DRW, then do a 450...my 2 cents, and the Auto's are holding over 1300lb-ft of torque...they're stout

Not for these trucks.

Search hard for that stick! Most fer sure worth it if you like a handshaker over the slushbox. While the torqshift is a better tranny than the older fourspeeds, the stick will always win for truckin'.

I drive a 6.4 auto at work on the line, and I just don't like it when gettin' big carts and AGE equipment rollin'.
