small issues

1. the fan has gone crazy for the ac and heat. comming home from tenn last nite i said to myself this fan is blowing awful hard, so i turn it down and it dont do anything, i turn it up and it goes down. it does this for a few hundred miles and goes back to normal. i tried every setting including auto and it was the same way. anybody else have this happend? it's the dual zone deal also.

2. the degas bottle is way low, should this be a concern?

3. 1000 mile trip and it never went into regen once. this normal?

i'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to see what they say. i talked to a few people this weekend with same truck as mine and they all stated they get 14-14.5 towing after ford fixed the dpf, said after it was fixed it never smoked again.

def take it in. Did you get heat out of the heater when you were playing with the fan? Did the engine fan kick in? Were you down on power? Is there any white residue on the hood above where the degas bottle is? Hope its nothing. Just covering all the bases. Something is not right with the DPF system though. 1000miles with no regen is very odd. Especialy with no codes.

Lets just say not quite stock.

i never tried heat. but where it really smokes is rolling onto the interstate and getting on it it will spit a streak of smoke like my 6.0 did, sometimes it will from a stand still.
i ended up 12 mpg.

the fan deal was weird, it would just change speeds on it's own witohut doing anything to it.

Mine does that too with the DPF on. Not to concerned about it. As soon as my truck get back the DPF should be off for the last time. :
