1.9L Fiat Turbodiesel Fuel Pump

I need a fuel pump for the aforementioned engine. It needs to be able to produce at least 67psi and be capable of running 12 volts. It also needs to be an external pump. I know very little about diesels or fuel pumps this engine is going into a hydraulic hybrid chevy equinox and the diesel motor has to drive the hydraulic pumps. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nate

There is a pump available through Summit Racing Aero 1000 or something like that, it's red for referance and is designed for GAS EFI systems but there are a couple guys that are running it with great sucess. You have to use thier FP regulator and it uses AN fittings.

I will add however you are going to spend about $600.00 by the time your done.

Sounds like a cool project, keep us posted on what your doing.

Welcome to the board BTW.

I am actually an undergraduate ME at the University of Michigan and the truck is part of the Chevy Challenge-X Program. My only real experience was doing motorcycle and car maintenance but they let me join. Here's a link to the site the U of M page is about 1 and half old though.
