Check out my signature for what we did to my '01 Beetle. Make sure you put a boost relief valve on so you don't over boost like I did. Put it on a week too late. Bent a rod 1 week before it was installed. 2 months later after not knowing what I actually did was
this. Check out the windowed block pics. No to scare you, just advising this if you go with bigger injectors. My next chip will be a rocketchip after it gets its new motor and turbo. Definitely get a Vag-com it does come in handy.

I do not plan on putting in bigger injectors... Yet... But i did want to put a box on it... Like a 20-30 HP chip... OWuld I still need a boost valve... Do you have any pics of it... Is it easy to install?

Where do you get the vag-com stuff cheap?

What else do I need to know...

I know andy has some tips.. whats up bud? Holding back?

The 06 jetta has not changed from the 05 1.9 liter 100 HP engine...

2005's have a VVT and I beleive they are not wastegated..........same as the LLY's......

I have a VA chip coming for the Beetle..........got a deal I could not let pass so I figure I'll give a try.........

IIRC it takes the 100 HP to 133 HP and the 177 TQ to 230 ???? not quite sure if teh stock clutch is up to the task.........if it fails I'll convert to the VR6 clutch.........

I'll know more in a few days.

Check out VWVortex.com. This site has alot of info on it. Go to the tdiclub.com website and search in their for sale section for the vag-com. If not their, try ebay.

My problem with tdiclub, is that there is no instruction for different years with thier stuff... And they do not tell you what year it was wrote for...

I looked on Ebay, and can find the cables all day, but no software?

I downloaded my Vagcom/Can software and I'll sell it and the cable to you IF I can get it off my laptop or download the file again from their site.

That isn't my area of expertise.

Tim- This redneck is just too far outside of the Tri-Lamb box to even remotely co-exist over there. :roflmao:
