the mileage is nice isn't it. I have a 2000 Jetta with a Upsolute chip and I have been averaging 44 this summer probably 70% city driving. and I drive it rather hard. My mileage drops to about 40-42 in the winter. And my best this summer was 47.5 driving normal.

We took our 02 Jetta to Mi and back to Co, averaged 49.6 on the HWY. Generally we get 46 around town, I still ride my bike to work its been getting 57.

Bike is nice for mileage, but the A/C and heater don't work well.

If Iwas going for a bike I'd look into this one: HDT Bull Dog Diesel Motorcycle.... 100+MPG!!! It ain't quick , 0 to 60 in 10.6 seconds, but that 102MPG @ 55 sure looks nice.
