Dodge Sprinter Van Engine

What is the Benz designation for the diesel put in Dodge Sprinter vans? Is there a website with info on this engine?

Depends on the year. I think now the 08's are a V-6 CDI

For `07 they went to the 3.0 V6 Diesel. The info is on the dodge.com site. We have one in our business, very nice driving truck...the engine/tranny are super smooth. They are definitely in a league of their own compared to the Ford/GM vans, of course you pay more for that.

I believe the inline engines were 2.7ltr. We had Sprinters at UPS when I worked there and they ran good. It is a common rail engine. FedEx also runs them.
