Diesel power challange for cars!

Anyone have a car thats got some stuff done? I notice a diesel car here and there listed in someones sig at the bottom of a post now and again. I'm the one who wrote the email in about it... Hopefully there are some others out there that would like to take part. Anyone here with something turned up, post a pic and maybe some info about it.

i just bought an 85 Mercedes Benz 300D for 350$ that is going to get tweaked beyond belief. its my project beater car. going to run my homemade WMO / WATF setup ( waste motor oil, waste automatic trans fluid ) it will only see " real" diesel only on startup !

whats the challenge?? im all in!!

If they get some entries, its going to be like the regular challange for trucks except without the sled pull. Hopefully doing drag race, dyno, fuel mileage, braking, maybe a short road course to make up for not having the sled pull and trailer tow... Should be pretty cool if some people show interest.

My Mercedes E320 CDI has a Renntech chip and 231hp/412 ft/lb torque from a 3.2L Common Rail I-6, runs the 1/4 mile in 15.05 @ 92 and does 0-60 in 6.1.. seats 5 in comfort, weighs 4000lbs empty (with an all aluminum sheet metal mind you ).. and has a #1 crash test rating out of 100+ by the EU insurance institute..

google "E320 CDI 1/4 mile" and you'll get my drag time on it as the top hit...
