Royal Purple "Purple Ice"

Curious... Has anyone used anything like Purple Ice when towing heavy loads in hot conditions? Does it really work to keep temps down or is it snake oil?

I haven't used that product but I have used Redline Waterwetter quite a bit in both trucks and racing motorcycles. It does do a better job of transferring heat from what I can tell. It is a noticeable difference in the bikes with their small cooling systems. AFAIK all of these type of products are surfactants and it makes sense that they should work to some degree. Hope this helps.

Thanks all, I assume this stuff is the same idea. I have a bottle of it from a friend who was moving and giving away stuff he can't take. I think I might give it a try.
