Ruby Red

On our farm we have been thinking about getting a 1000 gallon tank and having our fuel delivered from a neighboring coop about 45 mi away. We can get #2 or ruby red, both grades are cheaper delivered than buying it in town. What is ruby red, and why is it better? Thanks.:

Both grades are dyed red for farm use. You cannot run it in highway vehicles. Ruby red is supposed to be better quality. I dont know if its higher cetane or what.

Garage
Ruby Red is good stuff. I've burnt a LOT of it over the years. Been around for quite a long time.
