That is a 3-71 Detroit. It is probably running about 90 to 115 HP right now. I ran one in a 76 F350 with a 13spd and loved it. But I had ceramic X-Head pistons, 127mm injectors, fast timing, holset VGT, 6-71 oil pump, home-made bypass, intercooled, Jakes, 4 valve head etc. Remove the valve cover and let us know if it's two valve or 4 valve, and what injectors it has (HV6, N65, N70??). Then I can tell you a little bit more about it. Also there should be a tag on the valve cover. Give us all the numbers of of that.

How come you guys engines miss every other powerstroke? Your truck, 0 to 180 in 1-2-3-4stroke, My Truck, 0 to 180 in 1-2stroke!

Yeah, it could be a 4, but I know it's a 71 by the water pump and oil cooler.
