battery relocation!

Has any one done a battery relocation on their truck? I wanna do it on my truck but I'm not sure if someone makes a kit. Or if I need to make my own kit and should put the batteries on the frame or in the bed. Anyone have pictures? Thanks

PM Corey Squatch. Last year at his event. I saw on his truck a sweet set up. He added a battery to run the winch on his 5th wheel. It mounted on the outside of the frame just in front and upwards of the rear wheel.

I was never a big fan of optimas. But they are the only ones that can be mounted sideways!

well you could mount regular ones, you'd just have to build a battery tray. a strong one at that.

relocating the batteries would be a great idea to clean or open up space in the eng compartment. most people could find room under the truck or in the bed for this. i would at least try to pick a spot the could be fairly easy to get to in case of jump starts or batt service. i would also recommend getting oversized and high quality cables and terminals. also keeping road debris cleaned of at least the tops regularly. it could even be worth moving one so you could add room for accessories or intake/filter setup too
