just one question, why?

though to answer you question it should be fine with the stock oiling system. might be a different story about wet stacking it tho.

How is this answering my question? Do you plan on buying a 6.4 and living in it, running it all day long for ac/heat?

it could idle for a while but needs to be drivin after a couple hours. cant remember the trem but if it idles for to long it could get a build up of extra fuel in the cylenders. my dad work up in alsaska and there rigs are running all day more or less. once they get up to temp they shut off then when they get to cold they start back up again.
