Wow! Check this out! This is what i want! You can get real jake brakes for these, not exhaust brakes, but real engine brakes.

they weight about 1,200LB's.

Green 4-53T = 175hp & 300tq.

Silver 4-35T = 185hp & 330tq.

Both turned up will make 250hp n 450tq in 1970's 3/4ton n 1ton truck's get's 18-22mpg . . .

some where swapped in most where GM retrofit's under warranty for the 478 Toroflow V-6 n Olds 350 V8 diesels. . .

This is a rare DDEC 4-53T that is rated at 225hp.

For a 2004 GM 2500 even at 225hp or 250hp that diesel it still going to be weakier then the factory OEM engine options. . .power wise. . .

This is what they sound like with a straight pipe, on the turbo version. Listen at the end for the jake brake.
The naturally aspirated 4-53 are way too damn loud. You would need ear plugs to go on a trip somewhere.
