Cool contaminated oil

I have a 1999 rv on a Freightliner chassis and Cat engine. I am getting contamination (silicate) in my oil. I have checked all boots and connections both in and out of the turbo charger as well as the tusrbo cooling coil and can't find any leaks. Does anyone have any other tips?

Silicate is sand, and the most common way for it to get in is past the air filter.

I would remove the air filter and take a damp towel and reach in as far as you can and wipe the inlet pipe if there is any dirt the filter is Not Very Good, as has been recomended change it out, be sure you clean the housing and sealing surface for the filter gasket. be sure the sealing surface is not corroded, if it is get it repaired or replaced. Just a thought!
