1000+ horse Cummins 5.9 PDS Pulling truck

This is a video I took of my friend's (Todd Ely) pulling truck @ the Washington Co. Fair in Greenwich New York on 8/25/2010

It was a 326ft. pull in the 8500# hot class, Todd has the truck set up for 8000# so he was 500# lighter then the competition.

The PDS pulling truck won the pull off and a Duramax was not to far behind him in 2nd place.

Todd built this truck from ground up (like many others), he is a member of Western Mass Truck Pullers Association, he owns his own Diesel performance shop (PDS) in Ludlow Mass, He works everything form heavy equipment to daily driver working diesel pickups.

If you attend truck pulls in the North East look for the PDS pulling truck and go talk to Todd about diesel, diesel is his passion. Todd is going to try to be at the Buck in Lancaster Pa. This September http://www.buckmotorsports.com/

To contact Todd @ PDS call 413 668 8383

I was not able to upload the video, so here is the link, It is about 1min 30second in to the recording before that action starts

The 1989 shelby csx that carrol shelby and dodge did was a fine example of early vnt technology. people who dont understand it tend to bad mouth it,but i owned the car for 180k glorious miles.oh and it never lost a race, and the vanes never stuck. frankly,i am tired of hearing about sticking vanes. fact is if the car was driven as intended, and the correct fuel used,it just was not a problem.if the vnt is no good why do cummins, ford,vw,porsche, and countless diesel apps. use it?
