?'s about a lift and pulling

Ok guys, most of you know i am geting into pulling some what seriously now since all my friends got me hooked on it. Now my 6.0 is my toy i have been thinking about lifting it, nothing big, i either want to do a leveling kit and like 285's or a 4 inch lift and 315's, do you guys think this would hurt my truck in sled pulling, i know it will drop my track times a little but how bad will it hurt my sled pulling ability?? and if it won't hurt it much, is any lift better than another(brand wise)?
thanks guys
robert

yeah if you want the same ride hieght. but after last year pulling and watching my truck sag like it had all 38,000# in the bed i decided to throw the add a leaf back in. i have the stock bump stock block in 2" and then bought an extra set of leaves from the junk yard for 75 pair, then took apart my leafs and feathered in the same lenght leafs into the pack and throw the add a leaf in the middle.
after that i tossed the old bolt that held the pack together and bought a big bolt with a round head (no more bending it) after that i took 3/8 steel stock 1.5" wide and 4 grade 8 bolts and clamped the leafs together front and back.

it does a pretty good job of keeping the axle wrap down but i was thinking of a limiting strap in back for extra safty

On a dually, the limiting factor really are your dual rear wheels. you can get spacers, and run some 35x12.5R16's (315/75R16) in the rear, but that's about as wide of a wheel as the 16x7 wheels will allow.

with a leveling kit for the front, you should be pretty good.

I pull with 40" tires on a 12" lift...with a beefy ladder bar setup, so I don't get any wheel hop...

you can see the pulls here:
