first pull with 6.0 tomorrow

tomorrow night will be my first pull with the 6.0. I've pulled with a cummins and duramax(my favorite) anyways what gear with the torqshift and also I have DJs street tune right now. should I put in the Looney tune?:evil:

you have gauges?? put the highest hp tune you have in and put it in drive and go!! also you can see if you can get someone one here to make you a sled pulling tune.

take off in 2nd......shift at about 4k rpms into 3rd and leave it....If you take off in drive it will shift 1st then 3rd and skip 2nd....when it shifts to 3rd it will fall on its face and be wanting to downshift and upshift and make you look like an idiot....did it myself the first pull. Put the nasty tune in and let er eat. :

'04.5 Chevy 2500HD LLY,Alli, CC, SB, 4x4, Sleeved, Braced, FASS, 4" SS Silverline exh, EGR Blocker, all thanks to MA, EFI Live tuning by me with Edge CTS switching DSP5 tunes, 68mm Danville turbo, ARP Studs with "C" gaskets, Transgo Jr., 20x9 Diamo Karat 8's wrapped in Terra Grapplers, Superlift AAL in rear, Ride Rite Air Bags, some stainless........yeah it shines.

i never had it shift right into 3rd. always got from 1st, 2nd then 3rd, and somtime at the end 4th

How often are you going to be pulling the 6.0? If it is often you may want to plug in a laptop and datalog the pull. Then I can talk to Domingo about building you a pulling tune. I have never talked to him about it yet as I don't think pulling is that big down in FL. Just a thought.:shrug:
