clutch tech

alright guys help me out. i just got a 94 12 valve with a handshaker. i plan on doing some improvements and start playing at the local levels. im going to need a clutch. i plan on 400 to 500 hp proably closer to 400 w/o the water. i have a line on a south bend mu13-125 con ofe for 500 bucks slightly used (it is a 900 clutch from sb). it will support 400 hp according to sb. am i wasting my time and money by installing this clutch. say at 400 hp how many hooks am i going to get.
or should i just get the 2 plate and be done?:squish

Well I see you posted this in the Sled pulling section, does that mean you plan on doing sled pulling? If so, if you plan on doing any sled pulling you better just go ahead and get the Dual Disk clutch.

South Bend is the only clutch IMO. Call Peter and have a talk with him and tell him what you want to do. He will not sell you somthing you don't need or something that won't work for you.
