Semi hitch height

Just talked to one of the local guys that sets up the tractor pulls, On advisory of the sled operatetor they have taken the hitch hieght and lowered it to 16 inches and will now pull from the short chain the tractors use. The reasoning behind the change is it is safer because of less force being put on the rear of the truck, IMO it a little extreme being that it is for the street trucks. So as a heads up if you happen to be pulling sometime in Southern OH better have your own hitch ready.
