Pulling Advice

Hey guys got a couple questions about sled pulling and first time questions.

1. Will my stock hitch be ok ?
2. I have 37x12.50 PJ's are these tires ok for this and can handle it?
3. How should I prepare for my first pull?
4. 4Hi or 4low start in 2 gear or 1st.
5. I have an all spring lift kit is this ok ?

It keeps your rear suspension from working, basically disabling your springs. This transfers more power to the ground, I'm not sure exactly how much energy is lost in the suspension???

It lets the frame sit down on the blocks and makes it solid so you don't bounce (bouncing = breaking). Same with ladder bars, they help prevent axle wrap.

Some places have rules that require a certain amount of suspension travel (usually 1 or 2 inches). Its pretty much pointless, because once the frame bottoms it should stay there and won't move anyway

I understand the Ladder bars, but how do you block the rear temporarily?

for my truck I built a piece that bolt to the factory bump stop so when it squats a little it bottoms out the axil faster and cant go down any more
I 'll try and get a picture.
