Chevy packing the front wheel.

Last night i was at the Harrison county fair for the truck pull in the 8000 open street diesel, in the pull off a 4 door chevy dualy was packing the left front for the last 20-30 foot. Never seen a pickup pack the front wheel. I'm not a chevy fan but i'll have to give him credit he has got that truck running great.

ok...what is "packing" the left front wheel? Are you talking about the wheel pointing inward, as in the tie rod failing?

No. The left front wheel was in the air, for the last 20-30 ft of the pull

My pull truck used to do that years ago. building a good pulling hitch fixed the problem. In a street truck hang weight on the left front and it should keep it down.
