2 Wheel Drive Pulling Truck

Is there any 2 wheel drive diesel pullers out there that anyone knows about?? I have not seen any or heard of any yet but I also do not pay that much attention either.

I am thinking about building a 2 wheel drive puller with the cummins I bought.

What do you guys think of that idea??

Any opinions or suggestions would be great even if you think I am an idiot for thinking about this.

Later,
Darrell

I don't know of anybody running a 2wd diesel, but I know a few running gassers. I can get you in touch with them if you want. I never figured you for the driver of the short buslaugh

That would be sick. The bus probably has a big enough rear end in it or does it?. Just build it like a tractor and add turning brakes in the rear so you can steer with the front end off the ground.

I want to say that there is a member on this site that either has a 2wd diesel pulling truck, or is thinking about building one I think his user name is 2wpuller and I think he is from missouri too.
Also there use to be a guy around here that had a 2wd pickup gas that he pulled in the 4x4 gas class and he ususlly did pritty decent. I think I even seen him win once or twice.

Well I think the the short bus puller is a go for now. Done some measuring and figuring today and we may start cutting wacking in a couple weeks.

I think this is going to be a really fun project and really get some attention.
