I pulled a 272' in the stock class. Not bad for a first time pull with mods. If I pull again sometime I may try a few things different. I didnt boost much at the launch, so it wasnt real quick off the line. I just put it in 4lo OD and let it do what it wanted to. I think that was too high, I looked at the tach once coming down the track and it was barely pass 3K. Prolly go with lo-3rd next time.

They pulled stock class last(9th class) with almost 40 trucks, I was #27. Left the pull at 1:30am and got home at 3:45am. It wouldnt hurt for em to start an hour or so earlier.

Talking

I finished 6th with 284' & change, next guy had 285, then 295, then the 4 FP (one of which was DQd). My understanding is that 40 signed up and 3 no showed.

Dyno'd last night at 371.5/783.5 !!!!! JODY TIPTON IS THE MAN!!!!! & thats just the 100hp program.

Nothing special, only thing dif from sig: tires are 50% ,I added a presssure reg (from Lowes!) in the map line, hvy shot of DieselKleen and some wts (JD green to be exact)

BTW: I was the Teal & Gray F250 that hasnt had a wash (or rain for that matter!) in a while.

Anyhow, I walked in the door @ 2:30 and I'm only 15min away!!, but I has a BLAST!!

Your truck pulled really good.

Im assuming the one that was DQd was the white Dmax?? I dont understand how he could pull in the stock class and still be competitive in the higher classes that he pulled in?? The other couple trucks that did so well didnt seem to be anywhere near stock either. But they didnt pull in all the other classes, so it wasnt noticed.

Oh well, I had a good time and didnt tear up anything. Got a little experience and maybe I can do better next time. Im happy my truck hooked to the track and didnt start hopping like it did when I tried to pull when it was bone stock. The suspension is still the same tho. Just lil more power. :smoke

I second that!!!

Yeah, I was pleased and surprised. I didn't think the 7.3 would be as competitive against the newer models! I do wonder how many weighted up to the 8500, though I think the ext. cab w the 8ft bed and big azz dog box probably topped it. I too think some of the FP guys probably had some internals done.

I do wish I had let some air out! Maybe I 'll do it again sometime.
