a video of my rough ride at the pull in belle

http://video.thedieselgarage.com/vid...c000065382.htmthis was my first hook at the sled pull in belle MO yesterday I had my hitch set at about 25 in. and pulled about 269ft.
before I pulled again I set it down to about 22in and went back out before they changed the sled. dropping the hitch down stopped my bouncing 100% and pulled 293ft. I never thought running the hitch lower could make me go farther, but I guess I got a lot more momentum going since I could stay in it all the way down the track.
Hopefully after I get my weight bracket built and a few other things done this winter I can start raising my hitch back up, but for now I'm just glad I got a couple of good pulls in yesterday with out any bouncing (sorry dont have a video of the good ones)

yea its a shame you didn't make it down there bubba, It was a pritty good time. There were a bunch of good running diesel pickups pluse gas trucks and tractors. I could have pulled about 5 times if I wanted to, because they had 3 classes for diesel trucks and a couple of exabition classes were anyone could pull and they put the trucks and tractors together.
