pullin the 6.4's

How are the 6.4's doin when they're hooked to the sled? I haven't seen any around home...so I was just wonderin'?

I've seen 1 pull: F450 KR 4x4. It was stock besides a Spearco intercooler IIRC. He was sorta midpack in the stock class.

Early 99 F250 4x4 Ext Cab LB, DP Tuner, Intake/4" Straight Pipe

I saw a new 250 pull a few months ago. He was in the stock class, and pulled bout the same as the other stock trucks pulled. Im pretty sure he was completely stock.

If ya wanna try pulling your truck, put it in 4lo, 3rd gear. Get the chain tight, get the sled moving, then put it on the floor. I say use 3rd, you can use D if ya want. But I put it in 4lo D when I pulled, and I couldnt get the rpms to come up. That was the first time Id pulled, Ill try 3rd gear next time. I finished 11 out 30something trucks in the stock class.

I done probly 5 pulls this year, I took 4th in a local pull, and I ran a mid pack in dhra this year, heres a video of my truck

Hog, I know what yoru talking about when it comes to rpms. 1st, 2nd 3rd, is all you can get unless you got some #'s to lay down. Here's what we were doing. Just running an edge on 5/5 (now this is the older edge that made the advertised 115-290 the ejf1000 not the newer ejf2000 or 2305's) we could only get to third gear. We left the edge on 5/5 stacked a predator on the middle setting and put a snow performance water meth kit mixed 50-50 on it and we were then able to hit drive in 4-low. Granted 2700-3000 is all the rpms you would get but wheel speed was still faster than 3rd gear 4500 rpms. I think when he dynoed the truck it was 476 hp at the rear and over 800 tq

If you're talking about Dubuque last Sept. I put 10' on that truck with mine... But yes, it was a totally stock F450. Add 125HP tune to it and I'd love to try it again.
