SD pulling with 22.5-24.5 legel ?ohio

i plan on pulling my truck this spring i am getting it ready as of now.is 22.5-24.5 legel to pul with cause i am thinking of putting semi wheels on my truck with in the next month ??the only thing i would worry about it hitch height and axel wrap but i have it covered thank s

There is a guy around here by me with a Duramax that pulls with semi wheels and street radials. No ones ever said anything to him. If anything, the added weight might help ya.

I see no reason why 22.5's or 24.5's would not be legal to pull with.

I can't see why they would not allow you to pull. I can not think of a single way they would help someone pull...more rotating mass...larger tires are going to suck up HP...limited tread patterns...I can't believe any sanctioning body would have a problem with it. It will look killer!
