missouri pullers

for those how don't know There is a new sanctioning group in Missouri called The show-me smokers. If the name sounds familiar a while back there was a group of guys that run around all the local pulls and called themselve the show me smokers but they kind of disappeared after a few years. a few of the original members got together and resurrected the name with this new organization. they have set up rules for 3 pulling classes, 2.4 workhorse 2.6 modified street diesel and 3.0 super smokers that class may be changed a little to allow for twins the way I under stand it.
I am setting my truck up to pull in the 2.4 workhorse class
they also plan on setting up some drag race events and maybe dyno days.

If any one wants some more info or knows were they be able to come in a pull they are still looking for more to fill there schedule.
they have a website http://www.show-mesmokers.com/ it is still some what under construction.
the best place to get info on what is going on currently is there forums

good to hear:Thumbup: I need all the help I can get I'm pretty well out numbered over there by the dodges. I'd like to see some more ford and Chevy guys get on there and represent:93C_peelo

I'm getting pretty excited about this whole deal. we have needed a organization like this here in MO for awhile. Guys will finally have a place to go and compete no matter what level they are at. The brush pulls are pretty fum but it gets a little aggravating for the pullers and fans when there is a 150ft. difference between the top truck and the bottom truck because there are virtual no rules on what you can or cant run, so you have trucks with little more than a chip and exhaust pulling against all out pulling trucks that take 15sec. to spool the turbo.
hopefully everybody will have a place to fit in and have fun with the different classes.

but to make it work they need all the support they can get, so spread the word

ain't you real close to the border Bubba. they don't have anything in your area yet but They plan on covering the whole state of MO so you may be able to sneak over hear for a few events, with out driving to far. Heck if they might even consider coming over into Kansas if someone was willing to pay to bring them. I do know they have several members out of Illinois and arkansas already but I'm not sure about Kansas, Iowa, and Oklahoma.

so far there is one right here in mexico, then foultun, warrenton, and one down south I think russelville or something.
They act like they have more in more in the works just nothing official yet. and I think they'd really like to have one in your areas because they have a lot of members from around st. louis and south MO.
join up in there forums and let them know your interested in joining in on the fun. The more members and participation they have the easier it will be for them to get more events:Thumbup:

Warrenton is only 45 mins from my house... I'd be willing to drive that.

The warrenton pull is only about 1 mile through the woods from my house. Following the roads though it's about 5 miles, so ya I will definetly be at that one. lol.
