kt1150 cummins seem to be pretty good from what I have seen.
I have also seen a pretty good running 6cly cat but I'm not sure what model it was I think it was bigger than a 3406.

Well Id think a 15.8 L cat with a pump on it. Even a good 3406B will make big power. V8 macks can make power but also are very finickity engines.

yeah V8 mack one the title last year but if it got in a loose track it didnt do as good hibbits pulling team has a 3406b and the 600hp edition cat and then 3408 i was thinking the 16 liter cat would be the best then throw the 12 cylinder injection pump on it i was thinking about running quad turbos custom exhaust header they are running like 6 disk clower clutch no cluw what tranny though

A 3406B or C, Or get an old kenworth cabover with a 3408, put a twin turbo setup on it, and turn up the pump. The Prohibited pulling trucks are bad azz. The one greg drives is a 3406B-C and the other one is a 3406E. I talked to Greg at one pull, he said that he runs 120+lb of boost and comes out of the line at over 4800 rpm, Thats a lot of motor to be turning close to 5000rpm.

you know they bought the blue ox right they converted it over to 3408 with twins then down graded it to a single i am hopin they make it a quad turbo the W900 is built just for pulling tube chassis that one has the 3406E in it the 3408 with a sigma pump 4 turbos would be wicked and then again on an inline six cat i can run the 12 cyclinder injection pump from scheid

Hopefully I will be building one. At work we have a 75 Internation Transtar that just sits around. it has a Cummins in it just not sure what. But it will lift the front tire off the ground every shift!

i would guess that transtar would have an 855 cummins in it and yes they can be built to run strong there is a guy with guy on youtube a pete with a 855 cummins and it was dynoed at 1300hp and th was only one turbo and a p-pump i bet that pete u had was a great truck and power is hard on clutches and u joints weak lins in the power train imgaine one with 4 turbos 2 for every 3 cylinders that is how prohibbited 2 is setup and then i would throw a 12 cylinder scheid diesel injection pump on top of that
