practicing starts

if you wanted to practice starting with the sled what would you hook to...i dont want to look like a complete retard the first time

'03 F250 XL 6.0LK&N intake, mbrp 5" stacks, SCT X3 with tunes from innovative, 6" superlift, 315-75r-16,boost, pyro, fuel pressure, oil pressure gauges all in the a-pillar,h-11 studs, short throw shifter,fass 95/150 with complete custom fuel lines, south bend clutch, traction bars

My brother and I hooked to our Case 850 dozer with backhoe. We were trying to tune his ally to shift correctly on the track with an s400. Tracks aren't made to spin that fast . Honestly, though, if you've got an auto with stock charger just hammer it in low range and let it shift on it's own.

nope ive got a hand shaker that's y i want to practice....so like a bucyrus erie 22-b crane would work

Every sled comes off the line different but most of them are weighin in around 40,000 and its mostly free rolling! How ever some come off the line like a brick!

Ah, a 22-b would be like hookin to a oak tree. Thats a little big, try something a little smaller.

ha ok...ill have to ask my dads friends for something smaller(we only own 2 22-b)
