Suncoast slips when cold in 210

So ya'll know my issues about my suncoast...

Yesterday at lunch i pulled out onto the feeder road and jumped on it a bit and after about 2K rpms it slipped and reved up in 3rd gear. It seems to only do it when it's cold.

Anyone have any ideas?

When you say cold are you just talking about at start up because i see youre located in houston or are you somewhere up north? It kind of sounds like the viscosity is thick until it gets hot or either your filter is getting clogged and it needs to get hot and thinner to pass through more easily.. But if you are in houston you can prolly through the viscosity one out

2010 F250 Lariat FX4 w/Sync.. Everything but nav and sunroof.. Little bit of IDP to help it out

I understand the frustration but allowing the motor/drivetrain lubricants to warm up before laying the hammer down is better for the wear on the parts.

I try to ewait for the trans to warm up to @ least ~144ish and oil/coolant to 180ish

I wouldn't say half trottle over 2K rpms in a 210 tune is hammering on it... but its never happened before, dunno why it is now. I mean it's 100* in houston so it can't be that far from warm.

I would try changing the filter out and see if that clears it up, could be plugging up with old crud from the coolers from you first few trannys.
