transmission trouble

Goin through the gears and get a clunk. NO forward or reverse but you can feel it kinda bump forward when put in drive and bump back when put in reverse. Intermediate shaft?

I bet it's splines on something inside...cause I had a little bit of a weird feeling that started the day before...kinda rough bumping that started slightly and got worse as the miles went on...I thought it was fuel filters, but changed them and it wasn't (obviously) that. Then clunk

I doubt it is the intermediate, unless you have the Suncoast intermediate.

Hmm...I proally do have that....cause I'm thinking it has everything suncoast has except solenoids. Why is the suncoast intermediate bad?

From what I understand, a lot of line pressure will cause the original Suncoast intermediate shafts to break. It is something that they are redoing. I don't think they have a replacement shaft yet. I went with a stock intermediate with my Suncoast and haven't had a single issue, but there are quite a few people out there that have snapped Suncoast billet intermediate shafts.

So since they're aware they have a problem, they'll cover it under warranty even though they didn't build it right?
