Dealing with the dealer...

My truck is going into the dealer tomorrow to have a fuel heater installed.

Problem is I spent 2 hrs this morning pulling the delete which I had to pull the tail pipe as well to remove. Then I installed the sensors etc. in the DPF and drug it under the truck.

Keep in mind this is all in an inch of snow in my driveway and it's -9 with the windchill.

So I get it hoisted up loosely install the DPF hangers and get her lined up to install the ball joint in the down pipe.

Big problem. The Down-pipe I got from Rudy won't take the OEM bolts. The collar holes are just the wrong size bolt won't go in. So now I have to do something which is most likely putting the Delete back on and chance it at the dealer.

What would you do?

The bolt won't go through the collar on the down-pipe...

The nut is welded to the DPF collar.

I found some other bolts and was able to get the DPF on...however I ran into a problem with the MBRP adapter for the 4" exhaust.

You can read about that in the other thread.

Long story short. Going in with just the DPF installed...
