I was wondering if there was anybody that is somewhere close to the Bakersfield area or the SoCal area that would be willing to help me install my dpf/cat delete for some cash

Lowering it down has to be the hardest part of the whole process. Couple of guys used ratchet straps to act like a sling when they did it themselves.

I've heard how heavy the dpf is and how folks struggle so much with its weight yet on the youtube video the guy just yanks on it by himself and when it comes off it doesn't appear like he is in any great strain. Haven't done one yet so I don't know from first hand experience just kind of wondering if it is heavy enough to strap it or can it be managed without crushing you.

I would assume that it is easier for the guy in the youtube video because he has the truck on a lift rather then crawling up under the truck but i could be wrong. I have also heard many people say it can be a pain!

Having it on a lift is much easier. On the ground is harder.
