Talking 12.48 @ 105.7

I went to the track tonight with my truck. Same setup as last weekend at Rudy's when I did 595/1220 on Dunbar's dyno. Tune was a standard 310 TCM file that you get with a level 4 license. No tweaks for my ported fuel rails. Best pass of the night was a [email protected] All of my passes were made on fuel. My truck doesn't have a nitrous setup and won't see one for a long time. I am extremely happy with the times I ran tonight. Had a couple in the 12.52-12.54 range and few 12.60's. Track conditions were ideal with temps being in the low 50's and high 40's. It seemed the colder it got, the worse off the track was though. It was about 52 degrees when I ran the 12.48 and once it dropped down in to the high to mid 40's, I couldn't get the truck to hook up as well.

Time slip looked like this....

60' - 1.672
330' - 5.003
1/8 - 7.860
MPH - 85.62
1000' - 10.359
1/4 - 12.486
MPH - 105.73

Nice. Do you think lower your truck and adding the Caltrack ladder bars helped get you there?

Thanks! The CalTracs are not ladder bars. They are true traction bars, and yes they helped out a lot. I doubt that lowering it helped much, if any. I will say that launching is much smoother with these coils compared to the factory 6.4 coils. Not sure if it's because they are weight rated lower and are compressed tighter with the added weight of the motor or if it's the CalTracs doing the job, but anything over 18 psi with the factory coils and the Pro Comp bars I had would result in the front end wheel hopping like crazy.

I did this over a year ago. My truck is setup a little different now. I'll be going back out to the track soon to try out my new setup though. Hoping for a 12.0-12.2

Great times for that HP level. I played with the calculator, and it thinks you are closer to 650 at the wheels to pull down a 12.5. Your solid torque number has a lot to do with the delta on the calculator. These diesels are tough to predict when converting dyno HP to track times. In any case, good runs.
