getting 2 codes since the Spartan upgrade

I've been running the new 250 tune for a week and twice I've gotten the P0401 and a p1000 code, has the new tunes caused something? I know I used to hear the egr cycle at idle but I haven't noticed it with the new tune, what's going on?

08 Job 3 250 4 door, 6 inch lift, AFE straight piped, AFE drop in filter and Spartan tuned. 91 Procharged mustang

Run the 175 tune for a day and see if your EGR frees itself up. P1000 is completely normal.

Okay I'll try that, does the egr not cycle with the new tunes? Or will running the 175 make it operate normally to free it up?

Should cycle with all of the tunes up to the 250 tune. The 210, 210 TP, and 250 tunes only cycle it at idle. Running the 175 tune will allow it to cycle all of the time and should free it up.

Ahh, i thought the update made it cycle on the 275 too, unless you loaded the EGR off tune. That explains a lot.

There is known issue with the regular 250 tune. Numerous people have reported this code with it. I have informed Matt about it, so hopefully he will get it fixed soon. The best thing to do is run the 250 EGR delete tune if you would like to run the 250 and then tune down to the 175 once a week or so to allow the valve to cycle some.
