Transmission Re-learn Question

I run the Spartan 250 tune as my daily driver.

Since I don't Race my truck, I haven't ever done the re-learn procedure referenced here on the forum : Accelerate from a stop at 1/4 throttle, do the same at 1/2 throttle, then at full throttle, etc.

Is my transmission learning my unique driving habits, like it does with the stock tune or should I be doing the "tuned" re-learn process?

The only complaint that I've had is the transmission not knowing what to do when coasting down to approximately 20 mph then accelerating, and I'm not talking about "Getting on It", just normal acceleration. It usually chooses to "slam" into gear.

Yep mine slams hard at 20mph, I make sure I don't hit the throttle around that speed, if so it feels like the trans is coming out. I've done the relearn a few times, to be honesest I'm not sure if it did anything or not, it still shifted hard. The relearn process is by far the hardest my truck has been abused and I feel like I'm tearing it up in the process, I've not done it in the past 15 times I've switched tunes, to me it's too hard on the truck for what it might accomplish, but I seem conservitive to most that run the high hp tunes.
