What would you do with a '08 6.4L in a perfect world?

Hi Guys,

Haven't been on here for a good long while, mostly because after I got my Spartan Tuner back in '08, and it's 275 tune, it ran really nicely until about 3 weeks ago.

The Dealership is telling me "you need a new engine" - which I don't fully believe - so I'm having Smokem' Diesel have a look at it for me - so we'll see what the reality actually is.

If it needs an expensive rebuild, I'm going to go aftermarket and have some real fun with it.... I'm no mechanic, nor do I have time to rebuild it everytime I take it for a burn, but who doesn't like HP???

So, those of you that are in the 6.4 Tuner loop, please pipe in and tell me what components you would do if you had a clean slate to work with. Right now I have a DPF delete pipe with a Spartan tuner and 275hp. I have an air intake too. It's on 37's with a 6" lift. Injectors? Turbo? New tougher tranny? Water/Methanol injection? Head bolts?

Thanks for your input, looking forward to it.
