Spartan questions

So I picked up my spartan tuner mid November and started with the 250 tune. I'm thinking about changing it, what are some good options? Battery charger needed? Also is the 259 to hit if a tuner to pull a 16 foot car hauler with a polaris ranger crew on it? Read people have said that traction bars help with the rough shifting of the higher hp tunes. If so how?

2008 6.4L PSD mods someday.

The 250 will work well for you, just watch your Exhaust temps (EGT). I prefer the 210 tune as it retains all of the stock engine safeties. More than 6k pounds or so, I'd go with the 210 Tow Performance tune.

i tow with my 275 all the time. It gets much better mileage than the 210 tow tune.
just watch excessive boost on hills if you have the cruise on
i kick my cruise off on hills so i can keep the boost down so i don't blow off an intercooler boot.
