Spartan 275 Tune
I just got the 275 installed last week and love, the power is amazing. But what if anything stock will break on this truck or has broken on any others? I did a search and read that Matt feels that the stock tranny will hold up to any of their tunes up to 210hp. What about the 275? I do not plan on doing any further power mods.

It will be fine. I've bin beating on mine (4x4 launches, 4x4ing, racing) all with nitrous for over 50k and no problems. Just drive it.

Despite what yall say i still believe that the 275 tune will eventually do damage. I dont have the 275. However when i do get it i will be saving up just incase i do break the truck in some way. To me worse case scenario is ill have to take it back to the Ford. If my tranny goes, ill rebuild it with Suncoast guts. I also dont really plan on doing to much more than my Spartan Tune and maybe possibly Water/Meth.

can yall give me any feedback on mileage yall are seeing with the 210,250, and 275, i have the 210 and im getting 12.5 with me driving 65 on highway and some town and idleing mix, is up about 1 mpg from 75hp SCT.

I thought that when I first got the race tunes as well but nothing has broke. I know lots of guys running these tunes and no trans/motor problems. That's a lot of k with that kinda hp........

Honestly. Yes. But driving a like an idiot ( like me ) will definetly shorten the life span. But even a bone stock truck wouldn't last driving like that. I think they are MORE reliable. There's no slipping and if there is the truck defuels itself. Imo that is about all the stock trans will handle but at the same time it is a RACE tune. And that's impressive.

I am not hard on it all the time but I do like to hammer on it once in a while. Good to know that I should be able to get 50000km anyways.
