Stock File with no DPF

My question is if you ran the truck with the stock file loaded for say 30-50 miles and the truck went into Regen, would it clear itself once you load one of the dpf delete tunes?? Or would it stay in constant Regen and have to be taken back to the dealer to clear??

I have read several guys have run with straight pipes waiting on their tune.

Ford is reflashing my truck and I would like to bring it home while I wait to find out if I need a new tune??

So the truck fired up after the reflash with a tune loaded, so does that mean I am OK?

The Strategy Code did change but only the last Letter? I assume I am ok. Anybody who has been through this please chime in.

Your okay. My tunes didn't change after the ford reflash. Although they didn't load the first time and I had to drive it home 100 miles. It went into regen after 80 miles but once the tune loaded it turned the regen off.
