Particulate Filter Back Exhaust - any gain?

http://www.dfuser.com/mfg/powerstroke/64/mbrp.php

do you guys think you could really gain power with this? Is there a power gain because it "deletes" the muffler?

In all honesty. I can see it. Way more gains out of a CAI.

Lets just say not quite stock.

with the dpf there it won't make any difference other than you getting dtc's for the sensor readings being off.

2008 F250 CC SB - It all wont fit in the sig so why bother?

None other than looks. CAI will give you more whistle sound & seems to be a little quicker on low end but no measureable mpg gains. You'll need more air only if you tune mid to higher tunes. Now, this is only my opinion. There are millions.....

Someone might correct me but I'm pretty certain the muffler is a straight thru piece of pipe all for looks.

The muffler y'all are talking about is small, full opening, so exhaust flows through it with ZERO restriction. The only reasons to get rid of the tail assembly is to get a larger diameter exit with less severe bends or for looks.
