99% of people with built trannies in the 6.4 run the suncoast........its a proven combo in the 6.4 and its what I plan on going with.

So If I just upgrade my torque converter and possibly TCM I should be able to run the 310 tunes no problem???

Yes, that would be a great start. If your really hard on the tranny with the 310 tune, you can potential hurt some clutches, but that would take a ton of abuse.

I have only had the truck for a few months now but have not been too hard on it. I'm just trying to get around this de-fueling issue right now, so if it's a slipping tranny hopefully a TQ should solve the majority of the issue (from the sounds of things anyway).

Your truck will not defuel from torque converter slippage.....only from internal clutch slippage. And this defuel will happen early on.....it will shift 1-2, 2-DEFUEL usually, or it can go 1-2, 2-3, 3-DEFUEL. That isn't the converter though, its the clutches slipping and a signal is sent via modules and the truck will defuel and fall on its face. If the truck is defueling on top end its fuel related, or tune related.

Suncoast or PI all the way. I would never think about touching an ATS transmission for the 6.4L.
