problems

A buddy of mine's 6.4 wont start now.. He just put a new edge programmer and a dpf delete exhaust on it. Programmer a few days ago and exhaust today.. Said it ran good until he got home, shut it off and now it wont even crank over.. What are possible issues and things he should try? Said at first it threw some codes but none now.. Hes tried putting it to stock and even unplugging the battery and nothing . said he looked somewhere and it said he needed to put the dpf back on and plug a sensor back in and jump the starter. Does that sound right?

2008 6.4L PSD mods someday.

SOLD:2003 6.0L PSD. Tinted windows, Kenwood Cd player, Banks 4 inch Monster 1/2 way back to MBRP 6 inch Miter cut dual stacks, Rhino lined bed and rockers,S&B airfilter, Sct tuned by various, DiProcol Tranny, EGT and boost gauges in pillar mount, Go Rhino steps on 33x12.50 Toyo M/t's with black 18x9 Ultra Mammoth rims.Dfuser coolant kit,Ford Blue fuel pressure spring, ARP studs, Black excursion grill with enlarged Black emblem, 2008 tailgate with black emblem and black super duty lettering and 2008 tail lights RCD egr delete..

If the EGT sensors are not in the exhaust, the truck will run 1 time then refuse to start. You can jump the starter with the brown and green wire near the passenger side battery. But if there is a problem with the EGT sensors it will do the same thing next time he shuts it down.

said he replaced everything and jumped starter and it started.. So how can he fix this problem so he doesnt have to do this?

If all the sensors are in place and working, it will not happen again. If it does happen again, one of the EGT sensors got damaged and needs to be replaced.

Does he have the edge for dpf delete or the regular?
