I get decent fuel mileage with my Spartan tuner. I have seen as much as 19.7 highway hand calculated with the latest 275 tune. That was on 35" Toyo Open Country AT's. With my new Toyo Proxes (32"), I made a 200 mile drive and burned less than half a tank. That is also with the latest 275 tune. I ran between 1900-2200 RPM the whole trip.

I have the spartan phalanx and 275 tune. Its pretty much already paid itself off. I can't remember to the exact but I think with just a little under 30K miles the programmer would pay for itself. My truck has about another 6-7K miles to go.
Pros: Better performance <understatment, fuel economy, reliability, can go back to stock if warranty work is required, Smoke ALOT of trucks with just a little over $1000, and you can monitor anything you want with the programmer, and you'll love your truck so much more.

Cons: Tires go quick, someone breaks into your truck and steals it then you've got a HUGE paper weight, thats really all I can think of.

BTW welcome to TDG.
