need help.

I'm trying to get my truck back to stock and am having trouble getting the rear part of the exhaust back over the rear axle.
How have you guys done it in the past, I've tried from the rear in and from the front back in (the way i took it out, pulling it over the axle towards the front). I'm now trying the "get more drunk" approach). Been at this for an hour now with no luck.......

I removed the right rear shock. It gives you alot more room under there.

Jack the truck up on the reciever hitch remove the rear tire and unbolt the shock seems a bit much but no problems and saves alot of headache. There are easier ways to do it but more headaches in my opinion. I can swap in my drive way with help in about an hour.
