Conversion

ive got an 05 gasser and wanna dop a diesel in im pretty sure im gonna half to redo the front suspension and maybe the tranny to hold up anything else i might be looking to replace??

Honestly.....it's cheaper to go buy a 2500 with a diesel already in it. The trans won't bolt up IIRC but the big issue is the frame is different from the gas to diesel version, the suspension and other things are all different as well.

98 2500 4x4,12V,47RE Suncoast Billet input shaft, Suncoast H/D Extreme Trans kit, Goerend Triple disc converter, FASS 150/90, FASS Suction tube, Amsoil Ea air and pre-filter, 100 plate, 4K GSK, 370's, AFC Mods, CoolerTubz intake, straight piped 4" DP to 5" stacks, BD-SBS, Autometer Z-series Pyro/Boost/Trans/FP, Amsoil Bypass system and Amsoil fluids bumper to bumper.

Ok thanks for the advice man I am just one of the guys that wants somethin different from everyone else but knowin this I won't even waste the time or money thanks again

Not saying it can't be done....now if you wanted to build a hot rod 1/2 ton with a built Cummins that's one thing....but a DD 2500 conversion.....you're better off trading/selling off the gasser and buying a Cummins truck to begin with.

I wasn't gonna pull with it or anything all it was gonna be was a sleeper truck to put all the little imports in my town to shame

Lot's of guys have been swapping them into 1/2 short bed trucks for that very reason. Post more info about the truck you want to transplant the diesel into....
