Wiring for transfer tank help

Just picked up a 50 gal transfer tank and electric pump. It has the alligator clips for the battery. I'd like to convert to a 2-pin plug in the truck bed and a 2-pin matching plug on the power cord for the pump. Does anyone sell a wiring system for them?
Maybe TSC?

Anything and everything you could need.

Most times you have to buy many more to meet the min. quanity, but I have found it is typically cheaper than going to a local auto parts store and getting 10 instead of 50 or 100 from Waytek.

Many routes to go. Here are some examples.

Male Molded 2 Contact - http://order.waytekwire.com/productd...202%20CONTACT/

Female Molded 2 Contact - http://order.waytekwire.com/productd...202%20CONTACT/

You have to buy 5 of each to order.

You can get real fancy to, and make up your own sealed connectors, delphi packard, etc. Order a catalog, you won't be dissapointed. Great place to buy heatshrink in bulk, loom, etc. I bought 500' of 1/2" loom for the same price you buy a small pack at Advanced. All quality stuff.

Thanks, Wayne,

Problem is, I have to fab up something quick. I'm gonna check TSC, but not overly optomistic.

the plug/links that Wayne provided you links to are available at radio shack.
those plugs are commonly refered to as SAE plugs

radio shack sells 'em in pairs (so you'll only need to buy one package to get what
you need). - http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=3870003

if youre looking for something weatherproof and more "portable" - i HIGHLY recommend
POWERLET - http://www.powerlet.com/products

Thanks Bushpilot, but I need a plug just like that with probably #10 or #12 wire. The pump draws up to 30 amps, so the wire must be pretty heavy. I will also install a 30 amp in-line fuse kit, or whatever the pump manugacturer recommends. I have the typical $199 TSC electric pump.

NAPA sells connetors just like Wayne posted. Also has weather proof connectors.

the pump draws 30 AMPS ???

I wouldnt use those SAE plugs for that, they wont even hold up to
15amp (ask how i know) !

if your runnin' 30amps your gonna want a distribution block and hard wire
connections not a plug (see your local area car audio shop).

Actually, I'm not sure, but the wire off the pump looks awfully heavy. Probably 12 ga.

The plug I'm looking for reminds me of the old Myers snowplow headlight plugs. Simple 2 pin flat plugs covered in a weatherproof rubber coating. That's all I really think I need for a simple set up that can be removed quickly from my truck.
